FocusedLD.com provides customized, one on one tutoring to learning disabled students. This blog is an extension of that service, providing news and information relating to the company, its services and other topics. The information we collect helps us personalize and continually improve our service to our customers.

FocusedLD strives to be compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

If you are under age 13 you may not sign up for, or receive any tutoring from, FocusedLD services without your parent or legal guardian’s permission.
Parents or legal guardians may contact us to review any information we have collected about their child. They may request we delete this information or desist from collecting any more information, although this WILL result in the deletion of the student’s account and cancellation of all tutoring sessions.
In this case, we will require identity verification from the parent or legal guardian before any action is undertaken.
Sharing information with third parties
Information about our customers is an important part of our business, but we do not sell it to others.
In order to deliver the very best personalized learning disability tutoring, we are required to share personal information about the student, and their condition, with our tutors. They are under contractual agreement to keep this information confidential and to not use this information for any other reason. We will never divulge any financial information, or any other information you may request to keep private, to our tutors.
We may share your personal information with the vendors (companies) that help us process transactions, such as credit card purchases. Such information sharing is subject to a legal agreement that requires these vendors to keep your personal information strictly confidential.
blogs.focusedld.com may disclose your personal identification is required by law, or if we have good-faith belief that disclosing personal information is necessary to :
(1) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served to FocusedLD or its parent company, Focused Academic Solutions Inc.
(2) to protect and defend the rights or property of Focused Academic Solutions, Inc or any users of our services,
(3) act under exigent circumstances to protect the safety of the public or an individual.

Sale or Change of Control
If FocusedLD.com is acquired, or substantially/all of its assets are acquired, your information will be one of the assets transferred to the acquirer.
